Bone Conduction Studio Headphones
Using bone conduction technology to provide a better experience for headphone users
The Bone Conduction Studio Headphones were developed with an aim to provide a natural monitoring solution for singers, when recording vocals. Current solutions use closed back headphones, which can make the user feel isolated and struggle to hear their voice. This product uses bone conduction technology, which converts audio signals into physical vibrations. These vibrations are then conducted through the bones around the outer ear and towards the inner ear, where they are perceived as sound. The benefit of this is that the ear canals can remain open, and therefore the singer can hear the natural sound of their voice in the room. This eliminates the need for any electronic monitoring of the vocal channel and therefore eliminates any latency, further improving the user experience. The product also features a separate click track channel, which creates a 'feeling' of the beat rather than hearing it.
