Simplifying Insulin Delivery

Sufferers of Diabetes have to manage their condition by administering doses of insulin to manage their blood glucose level. Current products can be very inconvenient and in some cases, painful to use. Working in collaboration with Medirio SA, this new product aims to create a more pleasant and convenient experience. Through the inclusion of innovative technology developed by the company coupled with the thorough user research and human centred design, this improved experience has been achieved. By assessing the performance and perceptions of potential users, design details and functions were developed together to create a holistic design. From investigations into both the needs and desires of sufferers, improvements to the other aspects of the device were made, in result creating a more valued product ecosystem.
