Transitional Sole for Zero-Drop Shoes
Transitional sole for amateur athletes
The transitional sole is designed for amateur athletes with little or no access to coaches or other authoritative figures who can give them advice on potential injuries. The sole allows athletes to begin to wear zero drop shoes without the anxiety of possible injury that comes with using new equipment. The heel will slowly compress over a 6 week period of use to gradually strengthen and lengthen the athlete's calf and achilles so they may use zero drop running shoes without fear of injury. Once the process is complete, the athlete will be able to run in the zero drop shoes unaided.
