Electric Kettle for Saving Resources

This electric kettle design focuses on reducing the electricity and water that is wasted during the use stage, including heating more water than necessary and reheating the water. This design reduces manufacturing costs and the environmental impact. The ideas for solving these problems include applying a ball shape to save material while maximising volume, using integrated internal structures, adding a scale label that be read more easily and in units of 'cups'. In addition more temperature options have been added, whilst using no screws or glue to make for easy disassembly, recycling and repair. Transparent materials have been used to clarify the volume of water that has been used. The material of the body is clear polypropylene, and the material of the lid, base and handle are polyamides.
