There are a number of solar outdoor lighting products on the market that utilise the idea of an off-grid solution. These are however of very low quality leading to a loss of customer faith in this emerging clean lighting market. This proves the need for better quality solar lights that make people want to buy the products and can trust in them. Consumers are more demanding, cultured and responsible wishing to choose a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. This project therefore aims to eradicate the previous problems of solar lights being considered tacky or cheap. Targeting high end hotels and restaurants will create a 'snowball effect' which in turn will encourage consumers of other sectors to join the ecological movement.
