Plantar fasciitis, also known as flat feet or fallen arches, is reportedly the most common orthopaedic problem. Many shoe inserts have been designed to prevent any adverse symptoms of this issue yet none of them take heeled dress shoes into consideration. It is undeniable that fashion plays an integral part of everyday life. A huge amount of pressure is put on people to look and dress a certain way and regardless of their detrimental effects, high-heeled shoes will remain to be a staple item for the fashion-conscious woman. However, due to distorted foot and ankle alignments, females with fallen arches are unable to walk in high-heels without the back of their feet slipping out. The bespoke ili shoe insoles adjust the wearer's ankle alignment, stabilise the body and secure the feet inside high-heeled shoes during movement.
