Flip Books Project
Gamification to improve young people’s learning within the UK
This project aims to aid schools’ approach to learning, through strategies, conventions and implementation of emerging technology found within the continuously evolving gaming industry; moving away from conventional methods with their limited interaction. The “Flip Books Project” allows pupils to enter a social gaming environment and complete challenges to help accomplish an overall mission within subjects, in an interactive, rewarding and challenging space. The first example focuses on the subject area “Science” to simulate the functionality. To stimulate active learning, a physical book is supplied, which will display virtual content using Augmented Reality technology making learning simpler, more enjoyable and worthwhile.
